Description: I didn't have Recondo as a kid. I was familiar with the character through the cartoon, his Commando Attack board game piece and a photo copy of his file card, but the character didn't appear in my collection until finding him with his backpack at a flea market 10 or 12 years ago. I think he was a dollar (those were the good old days). Ever since then, he's been one of my favorites. He looks ridiculously cool in photographs and the details in his uniform more than make up for the slight impediments to posability.
