Hello Guest

Attack of the Universal Monsters
Description: Had some fun the other day setting up a scene with four of Super 7's O-Ring Universal Monsters. I deliberately set it up for 4:3 aspect ratio, since that's what all the old monster movies were shot in.

These are good figures.  In a different time, I'd have gotten most of them.  The B&W works well, thematically.

The Creature is probably my favorite thing Super7 has done so far, but they're all pretty good. Detail is quite good, better than most of the Joe figures, and the colors are nice.
So far I've ended up with all 6 of them. I'll probably be in for Ygor and the Invisible Man if/when they make them, but I'll cut back if/when they get to lesser monsters like the later Creature suits or Carradine Dracula.

Very cool! I don't think I'll pick any of them up, but if they do The Mummy, I'll make an exception.

They actually have done the Mummy (as he appears in the beginning of the 1932 film) in the 2nd Wave with Frankenstein's monster and the Bride. He doesn't come with any accessories at all, which is a shame, but he's pretty good if you can catch a sale.
