Description: Mutt and Duke, a deadly duo!
The AV figures were a pretty cool idea, the execution wasn't flawless but what they tried to do showed more good intentions than most Joe side 6-packs.

| September 22, 2017, 08:11:36 PM These are some figures I regret passing on when they were easier to find. By far Mutt's the best figure in the set, but Roadblock and Barricade look quite good too. Of all of them, I feel like Charbroil was hurt the worst by the loss of his helmet. |

| September 21, 2017, 09:29:52 PM I always thought this was a cool set, but I never found it. I actually do like the Steel Brigade helmets, but I wish they didn't have the characters' names stamped on them. Also, Barricade's giraffe neck looks pretty goofy in that particular helmet!
This is a great shot, and it actually makes me appreciate this Duke. |

| September 21, 2017, 02:01:05 PM I remember having this set back when it came out, but the figures did not survive my early years of joe collecting. It was an ok set. The figure choices were interesting, but I was never a fan of the colors they chose. They never really fit in with anything. |

| September 20, 2017, 03:57:54 AM I like the set. But, the original weapons really go a long way towards improving it.
I wasn't a fan of the Steel Brigade helmets. Most of the figures in the set had unique helmets that were part of their character. So, getting the helmets didn't make sense. I'd rather have had Stretcher in the set, too. |
