Description: I've been trying to get back into taking pictures again after a long break while working on various projects. Now that I have my editing software issues sorted out, I'm back on the horse.
One of those projects was a modular jungle diorama that I've put together over the winter. I've had this idea in my head for a few years now, but I hadn't attempted it until now. It's still a work in progress that can be expanded on, but here's a test shot featuring Recondo.
On a side note, this is my variant Recondo that has brighter green camo. I've yet to see another one like it, I still would like to know what his story is.

I've had a similar idea for a while so I'd love to see some more shots of how your jungle came out. So far it looks really good.
I'd love to know more about that Recondo too.
Thanks. I'll be posting more with this Jungle set over time. I designed it to scale with both o-rings and classified series. I built it in modular pieces that can be rearranged an infinite number of ways in front of my monitor.
As for this Recondo, I went back to my archives. I found him at a toyshow back in 2010 for two dollars, which now seems insane. All I remember is that I found him in a plastic bag at some guy's table and immediately I noticed it was a variant of some kind, so I bought it. Most Recondos I've seen have a camo pattern that is an olive drab color, but this one the camo is more of a brighter hunter or forest green. It's weird. | |
