| Theme Week (Month?) - Best Friends |

Description: There's canonical pairings like Scarlett & Snake Eyes. Or, there's personal ties that forever link two figures in your collection. Regardless, the theme is best friends. Figures that you just tend to photograph together, whether intentional or not.
I'll start with Mutt and Spirit. I'm not sure how these two ended up together. But, they're always together. Need to research when the comic first paired them up. I think it was well after I was done with toys, maybe around '89 to coincide with Marauders?

This is a fun idea for a theme. Spirit and Mutt are an interesting one, because it became a thing well after both were released and then discontinued, as they didn't interact at all in the initial stories around their releases
They're very weird in that regard. I can't determine if there was a planned Marauders story line for the comic but Hama was able to nix it. Or, if the Euro figs were actually designed for a US release and that comic was going to be their showcase. These are weird things I'd like to know. | |

They went to Millville together around #99.
I like this idea for a theme a lot! It's not something I've ever put much of a focus on, which helps pull me out of the stagnant phase I've found myself in.
I get into those phases, too. It can be tough to pull out of it. I've been struggling to get anything good going for a while, too. Hoping to break that once the kids go back to school in a couple weeks. | |

That 1993 Mutt has seen a lot of use around here lately. Great idea pairing him up with that Spirit. I really wish I had snagged one of those when they were more available.
Great idea for a theme. Hopefully I can come up with something for it, I've not been taking photos lately because it's either too hot out, or it is raining nonstop.
Ditto on the weather, here. Last year, it was so hot and dry that I couldn't do much. This year, it's so wet that it's tough to get outside. | |
