The background really looks great behind Raptor. His colors are nice accents for it.
There's something about the line's oddballs facing off as enemies that seems to work. There's no reason for these guys to hate each other. But, seeing this photo, you just know there's some deep, dark backstory as to why they despise each other. | |

I never would've thought about a pairing like this, but yeah, it really works. I think it's because it makes him seem more like the star of one of those old, martial arts celebrity tie-in cartoons (Like the Chuck Norris one), the villains in those were often campy and less grounded than the typical Cobra. When I look at this picture, I immediately hear a really exaggerated cartoon fist-swinging sound.
Also, Raptor is a fun figure to use when you can. He's hard to take seriously, but the figure looks good regardless. |
