Description: This week's theme is stretch goals. What is that? Well....
Do you have a photo where you tried something new or different? It didn't have to even work. But, it's part of the process that got you to where you are today.
This photo was taken in early 2001. I had just gotten my first digital camera. I took this photo at night when I let the dogs out right before bed. This part of the yard had enough light to see the figures when I set them up. But, the actual photo was taken with a flash. This was an old SONY camera and it still took the best photos of anything I've ever owned.
For me, I was learning what the new camera could do. As well as working on depth and posing in the photo. You can see some background action here and one Night Viper even has Mutt's pistol. For a nearly 24 year old photo, it still works better than much of what I take today.

Nice. It being a photo of Night Vipers really adds to the feeling of being from '01, with how popular those were back then. I dig that they're all equipped differently too.
I'll dig out a photo for the theme tomorrow, I got a new PC so I have to get all of my old Joe shots onto it. |
