Description: Not a BAT fan. But, picked this up to check it out. The figure quality is better than I expected. The heads are off and the figure is too smooth.
The main reason for this is that all the sculpted details are very close to the main body. There's nothing really protruding. So, it's almost like the pouches and holsters are painted on. Without those breaks, the smoothness of the limbs is accentuated.
For $20, I'll buy a Dr. Venom or Kwinn.

Nice shot, and neat to read about.
I had credit at a comic shop, so I got the Covergirl, that I'll probably swap a vintage head on to, because frankly, the head on it doesn't look good at all. | |

Nice shot Mike. I can't get into these, the sculpts are just a bit too simple and cartoony. Though, I guess I'm glad someone decided to acknowledge o-ring Joe at all. Maybe one day they'll get it right. | |

This is a nice pic! To me also, there's something off about the ReAction+ figures. The chests are too wide ,like The Corps. Hearing about the smoothness is disappointing. I bought Tomax and Xamot because they filled a hole in my collection, and they're fine. But I don't feel a burning urge to buy the other 4, or the 4 that have leaked (Duke, Serpy, Ramar, Fatal Fluffies). Part of that is that I don't have any attachment to the cartoon continuity. But like you, I would buy a Venom or a (tropical) Kwinn, just to fill holes. Or a Candy, Dr. Appel, there are lots of comic characters they could do that I'd get. I just don't have any interest in yet another BAT or CC or Snake Eyes that is almost like vintage, or Black Major, or a repaint era figure...but not quite as good. | |

I don't think my local Target is ever going to carry these super7 figures. Regardless I'm still not that impressed with them from what I've seen in pictures. The sculpts are just not right imo. |
