Hello Guest

The DEF Arrives
Description: I'm normally pretty rigid--probably overly so--at keeping Joes together chronologically, so I only photograph figures and vehicles with others that might've been on the shelves at the same time. But I make an exception for the Tomahawk, because it was used all the way through the comic run. So I can picture it with later figures.

Nice shot, Wild Bill works well with the DEF guys, particularly this version with the white pants, who's seldom seen.

Wild Bill as the DEF pilot works really well.  That team is cohesive like the '80's figures were.  The Joe team really kept it together through the end...even though they get no credit for it.

Agreed on both points.  Nice posing all around.

I like the DEF, the first 4 figures really look like a team together, and are all nice figures on their own.  I've not done any pictures yet demonstrating this, but I've been thinking about adding others to the DEF team, much like you did with Wild Bill here.

I feel like using the comics for inspiration is a great way to use items from different eras... Helps me change my thinking and justify oddball figure pairings.

Great shot, I really like your DEF team including Wild Bill, and those poses are nice too.
