Hello Guest

Target Range: The Pulse Era
Description: The 2022 Snake Eyes is the figure from the Pulse era that I don't have any complaints about. Such a simple design that can't be screwed up, I guess.

That DOF really is amazing looking.

I agree with Mike. The repaint era SE's look so much better for the painted details. The Roadblock waist is annoying, but I'll live with it for an SE that pops in photos a tad more.

I agree with RTG that he's a good figure, but also with Mike that the details on the repaints look good. BUT for me the tiebreaker is what scarrviper said--the waist. I would have gladly paid for Hasbro to remake this Pulse version with painted details like the 97 or 04 Comic Pack.

He does look decent.  It's nice to finally see a release of a v1 style snake eyes that actually has the correct waist piece and not the ill-fitting 86 Roadblock one.

If I want an all black Snake Eyes, then I'll definitely take this one.  (Though, of the original 13 figures, I think Snake Eyes is the least fragile.)  But, if I want to use a classic look Snake Eyes, I'll use one of his repaint era figures.  The little extra painted details just make for better pictures.  Upside to this guy, though, is that he doesn't stand out as a later repaint as much when posed with classic figs.
