Target Range - The Pulse Era (2022-current) |
|
Description: This week, we'll go with the anti-thesis of the original 13 and look at any figure from the Pulse era. It can be Skystriker figures, Transformer pack ins or from any other release.
I went with this Stalker. Ostensibly, this should be among my favorite releases of the era. But, I really never use him. Mostly because the main calling card is softer plastic. But, the 1997 version already delivers upon that. And, it's a better release in every single way.
The brighter greens on this figure, though, are nice. And, I was surprised about how bright it actually is. It's closer to a South American release colors (or Auriken) than Hasbro. So, that's definitely a plus that may get me to use him more often.

| September 18, 2024, 07:03:55 PM I don't have any of the pulse era o-ring figures. The two packs really didn't do much for me, and I didn't get a skystriker, or any of the crossover sets.
This Stalker does look nice, I probably should have tried to get one when he was available. |

| September 17, 2024, 03:02:32 PM I agree the soft plastic makes this guy easier to use. I love my swivel-arm Stalker, but I'm constantly afraid of breaking his thumbs if I get him out. He's a good match with the Slugger! |

| September 17, 2024, 02:54:55 PM I only just got Stalker out of the package a couple weeks ago. I like him, he's a nice figure, but he just doesn't pop like the Sunbow Cobra Commander figure. |
