Target Range - Original 13 |
|
Description: In lieu of a theme, I'm digging up another blast from the past: the Target Range.
This week, it's a photo of any of the Original 13 figures. Can be swivel or straight arm. Your choice. _______________________________
I went with Breaker. He was my first Joe. I got the RAM for my birthday, but no figures. The next day, though, a kid who was sick for my party stopped by and dropped off my present: Breaker. (A couple years later, that same kid would steal the missile table from my Scrap Iron. I'm still holding that grudge.) I don't photograph Breaker that often, any more. Most of my original figs are packed up and not all that easy to get to. So, it's fun to break him out every now and then. He doesn't seem to be too expensive if you want a decent one, even now. I should get a spare for photoshoots.

| September 14, 2024, 02:47:15 PM Breaker is awesome. Between the early comic and featuring through 85 on the cartoon, he actually got a fair amount of media time, too. |

| September 10, 2024, 07:00:41 PM I agree that his early comic appearances were memorable.
I've actually had a breaker for a while now, but I've never got around to using him. |

| September 09, 2024, 11:34:50 PM Breaker is one of my favourite of the first series figures. He's not terribly exciting, but also has enough uniqueness to him, that prevents the figure from falling into oblivion.
He had some good scenes in the early run of the comic book, too, so that helps him with me. |
