| Theme Week - Alternate Accessories |

Description: It's been a tough week and I haven't had time to comment on all the great 1989 content. Will work on that tonight.
For now, this week's theme is Alternate Accessories.
Do you think that Tripwire looks great with a bazooka? Did you once buy a lot where Beach Head was holding Roadblock's machine and you thought it looked great and kept it that way? Whatever the reason, the theme is any figure to which you've given gear that didn't belong to him and the alternate look just stuck with you.
Below is the Night Vulture. In the first lot I got that included him, he was wearing Gnawgahyde's machete-thing. So, I thought it belonged to the Night Vulture. And, for many, many years, I only used it with him. The lot that included this Night Vulture also had a SSF Major Bludd holding a Rock Viper pistol. So, to this day, I associate those two figures together.

I've always liked how you paired that weapon with the Night Vulture. It kind of blew me away that the figure didn't include it, because my first major exposure of the figure was via your old site. | |

An excellent idea for a theme, everyone has to have a figure that they have re-equipped in some way.
I remember seeing this picture on the old site and wondered why he had gnawgahyde's machete. It works. | |

Great idea, I hope I get time for a new shot. Work really killed me last week and this week my blog decided to die suddenly, so that's really put a damper on my photo time.
Night Vulture looks really natural with that machete. |
