Hello Guest

Theme Week - Water
Description: I love water as a backdrop for photos.  It brings such a fun element to any shot.  It reminds of being a kid and using the hose to make lakes, rivers or streams.  I try to incorporate it as often as I can.

One of my favorite first instances of water usage was some old photos on Evilface's site where he had a convoy of Cobras out in the rain.  It showed what was possible with early Joe photography.  Just this morning, I took advantage of the rain to snap this photo.  It's not great.  But, the location is a frog pond I have in front of the house.  (It's supposed to be decorative.  But, frogs laid eggs in it 2 years ago before I got the chlorine tabs into the water.  So, we're now on the fourth or fifth generation of frogs calling the pond home.)  So, let's see your best pics using water as a theme, backdrop, location setting or just, as a hint of the photo's subject.

Water shots are always fun.  I Don't do them often enough since it requires traveling to a location.  Or figuring out ways to fake it.

Yeah, water makes any shot a lot cooler. I wish I had more chances for good water shots, but it's hardly rained all that much this year.

That blue Snake Eyes is a really eye-catching figure. I'm glad I got one.

Great shot! I like the location, it looks like a Northwestern riverbank.

Nice shot. The Rip Cord helmet swap is a good one!
