Hello Guest

Theme Week - Funskool Flint
Description: Here's another from the archives.  Taken in the late summer of 2003.  At the time, I really liked how this turned out.

Funskool Flint is one of my most photographed figures.  Mostly, because I love the V1 Flint and this is a cheaper and easier way to get him outside without worrying about scuffing up a $50 figure.  He's been a staple in my photos since I got him over 22 years ago.

Nicely posed.  Flint is another Funskool figure I wish I had grabbed back when they were plentiful.  Weird how he doesn't have the v1 arms.

Those black accessories look really good with him.

I vaguely remember seeing people talking about Raven's castings back when I first discovered the online joe community, I think by then his site was already shut down.

I really like the way Flint's kneeing the dude in the dome!

That HISS IV is funny, I didn't like it at the time, but now I wish I had one, because it would probably be fun for photography.

Your photo aged well! The posing on the figures is top notch, particularly the Viper with his arm raised.

That Strike HISS is such a strange vehicle. Better armament really would've improved it.

One last note, the black shotgun is actually a cast made my a guy named Raven_Viper back in 2001 or so.  It's really nice quality.  The black backpack was from the Corps and is missing the grenades on the top.  But, that's tough to see from this angle.

But, I used it in my photos so often that one of the admins at YoJoe thought it was a real Funskool variant and published on his international Joe site that black weapons were a legit variant for Funskool Flints.
