Hello Guest

1992 Headhunter - Theme Week
Description: This is from my first photoset with the Headhunters.  This was taken in the late summer of 2001.  It was meant to be a sample shoot for a dio story (remember those) that I was planning.  But, that was too much damned work.  So, I never did it.

At the time, I really liked these photos.  They're very dated, now.  But, I still have that Chuckles and he's still bound by that black twist tie.  He's been shackled for over 20 years!

As much as I like the Headhunter figure, I really don't use him often.  Not sure if I'll have a chance to get a new shot this week.  So, went with this stroll down memory lane.

R.I.P. Chuckles!

I've thought about doing a dio-story a fair amount the last year or so, but I can't seem to get a story idea up and running, so it's probably not going to happen.

I remember these shots from the old profile page.

So many memories of reading those old diostories, most of them have now vanished from the internet.  I always wanted to do one of my own, but it never got off the ground as I just didn't have the resources at the time and gave up on it.

Lately I've pulled out a few figures and find them still posed like they were for photos I did years ago, and it's a funny flashback.

I took a couple of 1985 Flint photos a few years apart.  The figure was in the same pose each time.  I never bothered to move him from the first shoot and liked the pose enough to use it...not realizing I already had a photo of him in that pose.

Sometime I want to experiment with a higher angle like this. Low-angles have always been my thing, but a higher one like this could be a nice change.

I was once told by a guy on JoeDios that no one took photos from above anymore and I needed to update my style to take photos from below.  It stuck with me quite a bit.

These old classics are always great. Sometimes I find it really refreshing to reconnect with the old ideas and habits we used to have, especially once some of it starts to feel like a distant memory.

Poor Chuckles! An MP turns traitor? That's a nice combination of different years. You don't see too many Action Marine shots!

I love the bound hands. Lately I've pulled out a few figures and find them still posed like they were for photos I did years ago, and it's a funny flashback.
