Description: The tele-viper is a figure that I had ignored in my collection for awhile, until I found a few more and touched them all up.
It also helps to have finally discovered a good paint mix to match the flesh tone and fix the ones with with scratched noses.

Sweet set and paintwork Scarr! I've yet to acquire multiples of either the V1 Tele Viper or the Python version. For some reason I always felt content just mixing them into Viper squads. | |

That Parasite is AMAZING. Did you modify the gatling gun too? It looks narrower than I remember.
Thanks. I ended up replacing the gatling gun with a gun I had a spare of. I think it came from a DTC RHINO. I had to wrap the connector in electrical tape for it to fit. I was going to keep the gatling gun but I botched up trying to alter it to look a little more realistic.
An essential part of Cobra, yet I don't love any version of them, vintage, "new sculpt" or 25th. I guess vintage is still best as new sculpt is too tall and has thick arms, while 25th has terrible fore arms and stuff.
The original has grown on me. Not that I ever thought they were bad. I suppose they just weren't as exciting at first compared to more popular cobra troops. I always wanted to have them as they are essential for sure. The new sculpt one did have bad proportions (as most new sculpts) but they were better compared to most stuff from that era. I used to have a bunch of the dollar store ones in my early collection. I'd actually love to one day repaint a v1 in reversed colors similar to the spytroops version. | |
