Description: I've gotten into these weird combo weapons from the Power Commandos and, now, Kaido. I didn't know these existed until a few months ago. Got two of these Viper/Leatherneck hybrids. Weird but noticeable enough to be something different.

I've never heard of the kaido figures before. That weapon is pretty cool imo. Knock off joe accessories are always interesting. | |

Those Kaido figures were available in the USA as IMPACT around 1991-1992 with talking backpacks (that were more fun than GI JOE's and REMOVABLE). Later K-Mart used some of the molds for their post-Remco American Defense releases. And they show as Adventure Man as recently as the early 2000's in some odd places.
Are the Impact figures the ones that feature random Joe guns on a weapon tree? One of which is a black Recoil rifle? | |

Nice looking shot, what the hell is a Kaido?
It's taken almost twenty years, but the 2003 style Python Patrol has started to appeal to me.
It's a European knock off line. (Most seem to come from Belgium.) It's full of knock off Joe and Corps weapons. I'm going to have a rarities post on it in 2020. They're pretty cheap on Ebay if you want them, though. | |
