Quarrel |
|
Description: I've been slowly going through my collection picking out certain figures to clean up and restore now that I've found some better paints to work with. I just finished Quarrel today and thought she deserved a shot. I was never happy with the touchups I did years ago when I got her.

The paint looks fantastic Scarr, what did you use?
I've been using satin multi surface acrylic paints - Folk Art from Walmart and hand made modern from Target. These paints dry with a satin finish that blends in better with vintage joe paint and plastic. I do have to mix in order to match most vintage colors, which sucks, but it's worth it when I get it right. |

She looks good. Mine has a loose o-ring that I'm too chicken to change right now.
Thanks. Mine has a loose hip even though her o-ring is fine. It's tricky finding an o-ring that fits her torso properly.
What a beauty of a figure! We’re these always UK releases only? Did she come with Firefly’s SMG or did you give her that? Looks appropriate for her👍
UK and europe only I believe. She was sold in the US once at the 1992 G.I. Joe Convention as an exclusive. She originally came with a Scarlett crossbow, I don't have it so I gave her the extra firefly gun since it fit her hand comfortably and I thought it suited her. |
