Tunnel Rat’s Ride |
|
Description: I was down in the Joe room last week adding a couple of more pieces to the collection, when I saw the armor for the MkII in a box (I took it off to file & glue the dash board back into place), when I thought to myself - “hmmmm, I wonder how those would look on the original?” Turns out, I ended up liking the result pretty well. Then I got thinking “I can’t be the first one to have tried this...”, although I couldn’t specifically recall seeing it anywhere before for certain. So, if I unintentionally/subconsciously stole this recipe from another Joetogapher, I apologize😅

| February 01, 2019, 02:41:00 AM Thanks for all the comments guys! I agree that these modifications look cooler than they play😅 The gun DOES sit a bit too high now and figures going in & out are trickier than with the original VAMP, but it was a fun “what-if”😄 |

Back in the day my older brother would take the armor off defeated a Cobra Stinger and put it on the VAMP which annoyed me. Neither of us had the MK 2, until I got the Tiger Sting, which is actually a VAMP with the MK2's armor and launcher.
Any 3D printer models of Vamp/Stinger armor or mods? Seems like that's something someone could do. Not that I have a 3D printer.
I've never thought to look for 3D printed Joe parts, that seems like a great idea.
I like the look of the hybrid VAMP BB! |

| January 26, 2019, 03:17:49 AM After I broke my VAMP MK II as a kid, I put these on my original VAMP, too. Sadly, the raised lip on the roof meant that the cannon was always pointing too far up. So, it didn't last. |
