1997 Storm Shadow |
|
Description: I had intended to write about a different figure this week, but life and bad weather prevented me from getting the pics. So this week enjoy a post about a Storm Shadow that almost no one ever talks about.

| February 12, 2018, 09:02:21 AM I've wanted this figure since 97, and your review made me want it all over again. Fantastic photos like this are a big reason why-- you seldom see this guy this up close and clear. |

| December 18, 2017, 08:31:05 PM I've had this version for a long time, I remember being so excited finding one for a good price on ebay.
The inclusion of his original weapons was a big draw, plus I always liked how he had elements of all three vintage storm shadows. The v1 mold, with some grey from v2, and the black pattern from v3. |

| December 18, 2017, 07:36:03 PM Cool shot! I liked your profile, too. The '97 Storm Shadow is a really good repaint, because it manages to make call backs to the three previous Storm Shadow figures, but also stands out on his own.
When you mentioned the fact he came with his real accessories I forgot how rare those used to be; with all the customs, it's kind of funny to think that Storm Shadow v1 weapons and the Cobra Trooper dragonuv were at one point rare and desirable weapons. |

I've really grown to like this figure over the years. The white stays white, he has his full gear, and, it's not a bad design.
Seeing all this snow makes me miss it. |
