Hello Guest

1991 Ozone
Description: Today's profile is the 1991 Eco Warriors Ozone figure:

I first knew this mold only as an astronaut.  I later found the Eco Warriors original.  The blue, yellow and green make for a very different looking figure who fits with his specialty.

Ozone's a decent looking figure, and honestly his colours aren't that much worse than Shockwave v1.

Personally, my favorite Eco-Warrior is Deep Six, that was a great diver mold that really should've been repainted at some point.

He looks like he'd fit in with the guys over at M.A.S.K.

I've never really payed much attention to ozone.  He has a good headsculpt and a decent mold.  I can see myself eventually adding him to my collection to put alongside Airtight and the other hazmat joes.

So, there are two kinds of "favorite" Joes and Cobra for everyone. Those in the "figures" category, and those in the "characters" category. Though Stalker, Scarlett, Rock n Roll, Zartan, and Baroness are probably top 5 favorite characters, Ozone (and the character I made up for him in my head) is definitely in my top 5 on the "figures" side. Great shot of him and Countdown!

I've always liked Ozone, but I've never liked his helmet. This is a figure I only experienced second hand from my brother, who had his helmet with him most of the time. However, whenever I saw the accessory I couldn't believe it belonged to Ozone. The sculpting on it is so soft and cartoonish looking in contrast to the sharp details on the figure.
