Theme Week - Chuckles |
|
Description: Chuckles is one of those guys that's tough to really use in a realistic setting. But, he's also a cool figure. As a kid, I always had his holster as a waist belt instead of a chest strap. I also put other weapons (notably, Flint's shotgun) into it.
It sucks that there's no real alternate look for Chuckles. I'll never forgive the club for releasing him (even making a new head) in the same colors as before. Why not a differently colored shirt or something?!?
I do think his release year helps him. If he showed up later, I don't think he'd get the pass that he does.

| June 23, 2024, 10:14:39 PM I've always used his holster as a shoulder holster.
I used to have the moth version, and when I was younger I loved it since it was the only version of the character I had at the time. Looking back on it, the moth version was weird. Why did they use the heavy duty body? They could have easily come up with a new outfit for him. So bizarre.
I'd love to have a whole series of Chuckles v1 repaints with different shirt colors and patterns. |

| June 19, 2024, 04:48:54 PM Chuckles is a fun figure and character, though I kind of have more fun with him being some down and out Tallahassee reporter who kind of stumbled on the secret Joe vs. COBRA war going on. |

| June 18, 2024, 04:48:43 PM Yeah, the Heavy Duty repaint was about as bland as it gets.
This will be a fun chance to use a character I've hardly touched in the past. To me, Chuckles is an interesting concept, but not really a toy a feel much passion for. |

| June 18, 2024, 01:11:22 PM I always assumed it went around the waist! Now I'll have to try to rig it up as a shoulder holster. |

| June 17, 2024, 06:57:50 PM Cool shot, that Tele-Viper is wishing he came with a weapon!
Chuckles is a better figure than he has any right to be. I have a photo taken last year featuring Chuckles that I might have to dig up. |
