Neat, what are your thoughts on that Batcave?
For $40...eh. It's OK. But, there's actually not a lot of play space. You see how narrow that ledge on top is. The jail cell is huge. But, there's almost no place to set figures outside it. If you find it on clearance, it's probably a good deal. But, I was kind of underwhelmed.
Spin Master is making a new $100 Batcave set which on the outside is a tall Batman "statue" that opens up to reveal the play set. Strange.
I saw that the other day. At first, I thought it was an Imaginext toy. It will appeal to younger kids. My older ones will likely have little interest in. But, 4 years ago, I'd have bought it in a second for them. |

I'd love it so much if Hasbro did a GI Joe line just like this. Let the 6-inch stuff be for the realism and articulation nerds, and get back to making solid toys at 1/18. There's really no reason they couldn't make figures like this. |
