Description: 1988 Night Force Crazylegs - I'm not a huge Night Force fan. After two or three, all the figs kind of look the same. But, in the case of Crazylegs, it's a substantial upgrade over the original version.

I like Crazylegs, and wish he'd gotten a repaint in the repaint era. His mold isn't overly detail laden, so the three paint app trick would work fine on him.
I also got one of these in a lot several years ago. I've been trying to fix him up, but the knee-pins are broken and I'm not sure the best way to go about repairing that.
Speaking of which, do either of you guys have really tight joints on your NF figures? Something that surprised me about them, is that almost every figure I've acquired from this group has really tight joints, especially in the knees. They all feel like they're going to break when I bend them.
I'll have to dig out my 3 night force figures and check the knees, but I don't think they had overly tight joints.
Broken knee pins suck. It's weird how some will just snap or disintegrate for no reason. I've been wanting to find a way to repair or replace them. I need to sometime take a piece with me to the hobby store to see if there's any styrene rods that might work for making new pins.
Some dude on Youtube (Toy Polloi or something, I think) used either Bamboo skewers or Toothpicks as replacement rods. Not sure your feeling on that sort of repair, but it's a thing, and basically suggests Styrene in the right diameter would work. | |

One of the few night force figures I own. I got very lucky and found him for less than $10 complete if I remember right.
The black and olive green is so much better than the original grey and red, but the v1 has grown on me a little bit. He's one of the better night force figures for sure. |
