The Black Vulture
Description: Whenever I get the chance to do an LBC of a latter era figure, I'll take it. The 24 era Black Major releases were kind of a hot mess, but he did make a black Tripwire head with a silver visor. I tossed it on a TBM HISS Driver torso, and added some LJToys Baroness parts, and voila, I was able to make a decent enough pastiche of the famous Abutre Negro or Black Vulture from the Brazilian Sky Patrol.

The Brazilian Sky Patrol COBRAs are some of the better designed foreign frankensteins. However, there's no chance they would've ever reached the heights within Collecting circles, as they have, without Mike T. profiling them.

I'm sad I missed some of the Tripwire figures he did.  One was a nice approximation of the Action Force Stalker driver that appeared either in a ad or a comic.  (It is a guy wearing a helmet & goggles and not the Snake Eyes figure that was actually released.)

A lot could have been done with the Tripwire head and body.  But, we didn't get to see it.

The DTC Hiss is also an underrated vehicle.  It has some warts.  But, when they were cheap, it was a pretty good update of the classic.

That's a really nice shot, and a really nice custom. At a glance, he doesn't really look like Tripwire or any of the other parts used, so he really feels like a separate character.
