Description: Here's my shot for theme week. It helped that we finally have decent weather and everything outside is finally turning green again. I decided to spice things up a bit and equipped him with the rarely seen black guns and pack that came with the 2004 vamp set.
I miss stuff like theme week, target range, or weekend warriors from the old days at Joedios.
Pathfinder v1 is a cool figure. His gear is a bit silly, but it's so unique that it suits him. Not my favorite from 1990, but I dig him.

The black gear definitely gives him a fresh look! Great shot Scarr!
I hope we can keep stuff like theme week going and maybe bring some of those others back too. I also miss the days back when everything was more fun and active.
This was my thought, too. I was thinking about it the other day. And, I'm not sure there really is a G.I. Joe community left, anymore. Sure, there's some guys who post content. But, the FB groups are dead except for for sale posts. And, the discussion there isn't worth anything, anyways. Instagram was great for a while. But, the shift to video killed off engagement on photos and there's like 1/10th of the guys who used to produce consistent content there. Twitter had a moment. But, once it got blown up, there is no discourse there, now, either. Forums are dead. So, there's not really any places left to have some fun and just enjoy yourself.
I do like the black gear. I think a lot of people forget it exists. | |
