Description: Dug the TTBP out of the basement. It's such a good playset. Tossed Shipwreck on there, too, as I don't use him that often, either.

Agreed - the TTBP is an excellent set, great pic.
I need to clean mine up. Anyone know if they make 3-d parts for the missile launchers? mine are either stressed or broken. | |

Nice shot. I love the TTBP, it doesn't get talked about enough.
Shipwreck is a fantastic figure, he's far stronger than some other 1985 figures *cough-Snake Eyes-cough* and his gear is simple but very high on play value. I also really like his head sculpt, he's got almost a Clark Gable quality in profile.
I wonder if he's a victim of the age-old cartoon/comic fan rivalry, which would be why he doesn't get as many photos as he deserves. For cartoon fans, of course they'll take photos of Shipwreck (I do frequently) but for comics fans, they might ignore Shipwreck due to his close association with Sunbow. I suspect that the GI Joe fandom overall is pretty evenly split these days, but GI Joe photographers do seem to be more frequently from the comic side.

Excellent shot. The TTBP is really great.
It's odd how Shipwreck is almost an underrated figure, everyone loves the character, and acknowledges that the figure is really good, but he's seldom seen. |
