A tank that turns into a helicopter! It's still a step up on the tank that turns into a slum.

Fort America should've been part of the D.E.F.  The irony of a military-industrial complex tank that turns into an inner city ruin would've been....hard to explain to most Americans, but great.

Haha! So is that the V1 Dominator with the '02 version's parts? It looks like a Funskool release that way, which is pretty neat.

Yeah. I had a Dominator shell I got a few years ago. Obviously the tread guns won't work since they changed how they attached for the 2002 release. Part of me want to keep it this way, but I'll probably just strip it back down and put the 2002 one entirely back in its box. The back tabs that hold the engine intakes on are broken anyway. And it would require taking the body apart to swap that. Too risky.

Yeah, both versions are too fragile. This one has a broken tab that snaps into the tread in tank mode. The 2002 one removed those tabs but that causes the treads to fold in too easily.

I like the Dominator way more than I should. It's really a pretty shabby toy, and very fragile too. But, it's from the childhood collection I shared with my brother, and I found most of the pieces to it just when I started collecting vintage stuff, so I got a lot of use out of it.

The dominator is one of those vehicles I forget exists.

I had the 2002 version back when it came out and ended up hating it.  The tank treads had a habit of falling off all the time.  Looking back, I'm not sure what they were going for with that release, the colors don't match up with anything.  As for the vintage version, I don't think I've ever come across one in person.  I like the idea of the IG's having some air support, but the dominator could have been a lot better.
